The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2022 today on Saturday, 21st May 2022. The examination was held in a Computer based mode at 849 test centres in 267 cities. A total of 206301 candidates were scheduled to appear in the examination. Around 90% of the candidates attended the examination.

NBEMS appointed around 1800 independent faculty from medical colleges and NBEMS accredited institutions to appraise the conduct of examination as per prescribed guidelines of NBEMS. A Command Centre was set up at Dwarka office of NBEMS manned with NBEMS officials and Technical team of the technology partner of NBEMS, M/s TCS, to oversee the conduct of examination. Around 18000 invigilators attended the examination on ground. The Governing Body members of NBEMS also visited NEET-PG 2022
