मिशन Mission:

मौजूदा मेडिकल संस्थानों के साथ अभिनव साझेदारी बनाने और वर्तमान संसाधनों के अनुकूलन के माध्यम से मजबूत, अभिनव और कम-लागत वाले पोस्टग्रेजुएट शिक्षण कार्यक्रम प्रदान करते हुए आयुर्विज्ञान में वैश्विक मानव संसाधन को सशक्त और समृद्ध करना। Empower and enrich the global human resource in medical sciences by providing a robust, innovative, low-cost postgraduate teaching programme through optimization of current resources and building innovative partnerships with existing medical institutions.

स्वास्थ्य का उच्चतम मानक सुनिश्चित करना और भारत को अत्यधिक कुशल और सुविज्ञ विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों का केंद्र बनाना जो शहरी-ग्रामीण विभाजन के दोनों ओर कार्य कर सकें और वैश्विक समुदाय को सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ विशेषज्ञ देखभाल प्रदान कर सकें। Ensure the highest standards of healthcare and make India a hub of highly skilled and knowledgeable specialist doctors who can work across the urban-rural divide and provide the global community with best specialist care.

सभी भागीदारों का सम्मान करना, भले ही वे मेडिकल विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक या सहभागी संस्थान हों और विनम्र तथा कुशल सलाह आधारित प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से पारदर्शिता, ईमानदारी और जवाबदेही के उच्च मानकों का पालन करना। Respect for all stakeholders, be it the medical students, teachers or the partnering institutions, and practicing the highest standards of transparency, probity and accountability through a courteous and efficient consultative process.

एनबीईएमएस के उद्देश्य Objectives of NBEMS:

• राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आधुनिक चिकित्सा में पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट परीक्षाओं के स्तर और मानकों को ऊपर उठाकर मेडिकल शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता में सुधार करना। To improve the quality of medical education by elevating the level and standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine at the National level.


• मेडिकल विषयों में पेशेवर संगतता के मूल्यांकन में गुणवत्ता आश्वस्त करने के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय संसाधन का गठन करना। To constitute a national resource for assuring quality in evaluation in professional competence in medical disciplines.


• एकसमान मानक सुनिश्चित करते हुए पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट परीक्षाओं का पैटर्न विकसित करना और परीक्षाओं का आयोजन करना जो विशिष्टता में स्वतंत्र रूप से प्रैक्टिस करने के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवार की क्षमता प्रमाणित करता है। To develop patterns of and to conduct post-graduate examinations ensuring a uniform standard which certifies ability of the candidate thus qualified to practice independently in the specialty.


• पेशेवर ज्ञान, कौशल और दृष्टिकोण पहचाने गए क्षेत्रों के मूल्यांकन करने लिए बेहतर तरीके तैयार करने की दृष्टि से मूल्यांकन की कार्यप्रणाली में अनुसंधान करना, और प्रमाणन के लिए उपलब्धि के मानकों में सुधार करना। To conduct research in methodology of evaluation with a view to designing better methods to evaluate identified areas of professional knowledge, skills and attitudes, and to improve definition of standards of achievement for certification.


• विभिन्न विषयों में उम्मीदवारों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए संस्थानों द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त करने हेतु दिशा-निर्देश और न्यूनतम जरूरतों को निर्धारित करना। To lay down guidelines and minimum requirements for institutions to be recognised for training of candidates in different specialties.


• जांच रिपोर्ट का मूल्यांकन करने और बोर्ड को उचित सिफारिशें देने के लिए प्रत्यायन समिति का गठन करना। To constitute an accreditation committee to evaluate the inspection reports and make appropriate recommendations to the Board.
