NEET-PG 2023 conducted on 05-03-2023

NEET-PG 2023 has been successfully conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences on a computer based platform at 902 test centers spread across 277 cities in the country. A total of 208898 candidates were scheduled to appear, of which 200517 (96%) students appeared in the examination.
As a part of the zero tolerance policy of NBEMS for use of unfair means, strict vigilance was observed at all the examination centers, including but not limited to, biometric & Face ID verification, CCTV surveillance, document verification, mobile phone jammers, etc.
The Hon'ble Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya paid a visit to one of the NEET-PG 2023 test centres in Patiala, Punjab to see the preparation done at the centre for conducting the exam and, also interacted with the parents of the students.
Dr. Abhijat Sheth, President NBEMS monitored the conduct of the NEET PG from the command centre setup at Ahmedabad. A team of 90 members including the Executive Director NBEMS, Governing body members NBEMS, NBEMS officers and representatives of TCS made surprise visits to several test centers.
A command center was set up at Dwarka office of NBEMS under direct supervision of Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Member Governing Body and OSD to President NBEMS who along with the NBEMS officers monitored the conduct of NEET-PG and resolved the issues of candidates appearing in the exam in a real time basis.
The Surveillance Command Centre was set up at Mumbai by TCS with state of the art technology. A TCS team of 25 technical staff was available at the Command Centre to address any technical issues at the test centrs.
All the state governments were informed to provide adequate security and uninterrupted power supply at all the exam centres.
