Subject:        Counseling for admissions to DNB- Medical Genetics programme - 2017 admission session 

Attention:      All applicant candidates for DNB Medical Genetics Programme – 2017 admission session.

1. The list of candidates eligible to appear in counseling for DNB - Medical Genetics - 2017 admission session has been announced in Notice Dated 9 March 2017 on www.natboard.edu.in 

2. Candidates who have expressed their willingness for DNB Medical Genetics programme while attending DNB CET (SS)/FET counseling for 2017 admission session or through email (in case they have opted out online of CET(SS)/ FET counseling) only are eligible to participate in online counseling in order of their merit position in medical genetics. 

3. Candidates who did not attend DNB CET – SS/FET counseling or Opt out online of the same are not eligible to participate in DNB Medical genetics counseling. 

4. The Centralized Merit Based counseling for admission to DNB- Medical genetics Programme for 2017 Admission Session shall be conducted in an online mode. DNB Medical Genetics programme overview & details regarding mode of conduct of counseling has been emailed to all eligible candidates. 

5. Candidates may please note that they need not come to NBE Office, New Delhi for attending the counseling. However, they are required to attend the online counseling themselves on date & time to be informed on their registered email ID in due course. 

6. Candidates are required to submit their consent for participation in aforesaid online counseling as per prescribed format through their registered email ID at dnb.acad@nbe.edu.in latest by 27-03-2017 (12:00 hrs). Candidates are required to submit the consent form along with a copy of following documents: 

• MBBS Degree certificate.
• DNB/MD/MS Degree certificate or Provisional Pass certificate* of qualifying examination.
• Proof of MD/MS Qualification being recognized as per IMC Act/Central Government

7. Candidates who fail to submit the same shall be dropped from the list of participating candidates for online counseling.  

8. Any candidate who has opted for a DNB Super Specialty/ Fellowship Seat  in  DNB CET SS/ FET counseling for 2017 admission session, his/her allotment of the said seat shall stand automatically cancelled in case the candidate chooses  to opt for a confirmed DNB Medical Genetics seat. 

9. Any candidate who has opted out of  DNB CET SS/ FET counseling for 2017 admission session shall not be eligible to participate in any further rounds of DNB CET SS/ FET counseling in case the candidate chooses to opt for a confirmed DNB Medical Genetics seat.
